Goguin is a group from southeast N.B formed in the year 2000. This Acadian rock group has managed to keep their Acadian roots and had a remarkable success at the well-known Granby Festival in 2001.

Fred and Emmanuel St. Aubin with the group Élugrive (Hawkesbury, ON) - Info

The Franco-Ontarian group Élugrive has been on a roll for the last 8 years in Ontario. Specialized in the production and conception of Rock-operas, the group has had unprecedented success with young audiences in French-Ontario.

Martin Melanson, his son Philippe and brothers Arnold and Armand (Moncton, N.-B.)

The bass player Martin has played with well-known Acadians Edith Butler & Calixe Dugay and was a member of Les Méchants Maquereaux & Jazz Generation.
His brother Philippe 16 yrs old has played the drums since he was 10 and his older brother Arnaud, at 74 plays the trumpet regularly at the Halifax, Moncton and Fredericton Jazz festivals.

On the strength of her debut release Danielle enjoyed considerable media coverage and contributed to a number of compilations including a special 2 CD "Millennium Collection", released by Los Angeles based STEP Magazine featuring a number of established artists such as "The Verve Pipe and Kevon Edmonds." Danielle has appeared on Much Music's "MuchWest", spotlighted on TV Ontario's "La Boîte A Chansons", performed on Vancouver's VTV morning magazine show "Breakfast TV" and numerous local radio programs.

The cellist and bass player Angelo Finaldi has played with internationally renowned artists Luc Plamondon and Diane Dufresne. An Italian immigré that came to Canada in the 60's, Angelo's musical roots are felt in his Neapolitan salsa compositions !

The sisters Geneviève, Monique and Hélène Proulx (Toronto, ON / Montréal, QC)
The prowess of the Proulx sisters. Three energetic sisters who are the authors of many jazz and folk melodies and host of musical salons in Montréal and Toronto. Soprano sister Geneviève is also known for her work with the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir and the in concert Chorus.

Marie-Michêle has hosted the television series Un Air de Famille since the series started three years ago. Her own performance promises to be a unique and unforgettable performance in the company of her musical siblings!

Now based in Montreal this French Canadian female duo from Saskatoon launched there first recording in 1996 and their second titled Platforms et Sandales, in 1998.The group has played extensively from Quebec to Vancouver and is heard regularly on the airwaves of CBC Radio-Canada.

Randriamananjara Radofa Besata Jean Longin was born in Antananarivo, Madagascar. An introduction to Jimi Hendrix on the radio changed his life and Madagascar Slim, as he prefers to be known professionally, was born. An immersion in blues as well as the popular music of his own country created a bicultural artist. When he arrived in Canada in 1979, Slim studied accounting, but he was more interested in music. In 1980, he was a founding member of the French-Canadian folk music ensemble La Ridaine . For the most part, however, Slim plays blues and, increasingly, the music of Madagascar.

Véronique Dicaire is a young Franco-ontarian artist with a very long and growing list of musical successes. At 25 she signed on with WARNER who produced her first self-titled album featuring well known artists Nancy Dumais, France D'amour, Mario Pelluso and Yves Décary
